About Me and Contact

What can I say? I'm a sinful woman saved by our one amazing God. I've been married for 10 years and every day those teachings about how marriage mirrors the love between Christ and the church feel more real to me. I am a keeper of the home and most of what I write stems from things I've learned or struggled with as a Christian woman with values that often seem old-fashioned in this 21st century world. I've only recently turned from working full-time+ hours away in an office to bringing my heart home and serving there.

I love to cook and I'm a passionate reader, so don't be suprised if I post recipes, book reviews or simply things from my library that I hope people will try reading. I love to meet fellow believers and I cherish the friends and acquaintances I make, both online and off.

If you want to get in touch with me, I'm on Facebook (please like my blog's page here!) or you can comment on my blog. You can also drop me an email at beyondmyblueridge AT gmail DOT com I'd love to hear from you!

  1. Oh, Amy... That flop recipe IS good! And so incredibly versatile!

I have two gooseberry patch recipe books, A Pinch of This and a Dash of That and a Christmas one. The flop recipe is from the first. There are a lot of great recipes in that book! Enjoy!

Thank you for coming by my blog. I am enjoying yours, too! Happy Southern Day! :)

  6. Hello my linky neighbor! :) I was so excited to see your comment on Rise & Shine Life this morning! I also love to read, although I do seem to read blogs more than books now ~ less expensive & they take a lot less room lol :) Such beautiful flower photos! Did you take them?
